What is Polymer Clay?

 

Polymer clay is a man-made clay mainly consisting of a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base. PVC is an artificial plastic polymer and is one of the most widely used plastics in the world. Other components of polymer clay include resins, fillers and colouring. These ingredients give polymer clay its flexibility, soft texture and vibrant colour. The clay has to be baked in an oven to cure and should retain some flexibility.

Why are there imperfections in my items?

​

Each badge is made by hand, making each item unique and subject to slight imperfections. These include but are not limited to slight bubbling, slight scratches and fingerprints. The writing is made up of individual tiny snakes of clay and is meant to resemble more of a "comic sans" font rather than perfect, straight writing. What if my item is damaged or broken?

 

It is understandable that accidents happen, I will make repairs as needed, simply pay shipping (one-way) and we will attempt to repair it. Simply email a picture of your broken or damaged item and I will send you options for repair or replacement. If it is possible for you to glue the pin, magnet or broken part back on with superglue yourself rather than sending it to me, I would suggest that option.

How should I care for my polymer clay?

​

Polymer clay is fade resistant and waterproof making items durable when proper care is taken.

To clean the polymer clay, simply use a piece of moist, soft fabric and a mild soap, and gently wipe clean. You may also use a tooth brush with a soft bristle to remove dirt and dust. Do not use alcohol, alcohol wipes or solvents on the badges as this will remove the coating I have applied and any glitter I have added.

Can I make colour changes to the order I placed?

Absolutely! If there is a certain design you like but would prefer a different colour (eg. hair colour) or you have something completely different in mind and would like your piece to be customized especially for you... please contact me via email at Cherylg79@gmail.com and I will see what I can do!

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

​

Depending on my current workload at time of placing the order, production can take anywhere between approximately 2 to 4 weeks.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

​

There are significant postal delays throughout Australia of up to 4 weeks. Consider Express Post as an option. Please refer to detailed info under Shipping in the Menu

Can I cancel my order if I have changed my mind?

​

If you have changed your mind this isn't a problem. Please email me on Cherylg79@gmail.com to discuss your situation. The value of the item will be credited back into your account within a few business days.
